Just
a few miles along the Highway 192 sits a replica of an 11th
century castle, complete with moat and drawbridge that is
Medieval Times. Park your horse and stroll across the drawbridge
into the 11th Century for a night of feasting, jousting,
and tales of the round table!
Indoors,
the theme continues, with an enormous covered jousting auditorium
surrounding a large field of battle.
The
meal is a four-course event, served by 'wenches', that includes
roast chicken, spare ribs, potatoes, soup and dessert, plus
a few rounds of drinks to wash it all down. (Note: Unlike
the other area dinner shows, drinks are not bottomless here.)
And of course, no utensils are used; you eat with your hands!
As
well as the jousting and meal, you'll love the horse show
provided - with white Andalusian horses performing stunning
acts of precision dresságe.
We
recommend that you arrive early, and enjoy a visit to the
Museum of Torture and Medieval Life Village within the 'Castle'
walls.
Each section of the dining auditorium is assigned a knight,
who battles knights of other sections (six in all). Each
one jousts, swordfights and performs acts of derring-do
for the honor of your section.
Nightly shows at 8:00pm. You must be seated by 19:45pm
