Old Town Kissimmee Located on the Highway 192 at Mile marker 9 - this collection of stores and attractions is a very popular daytime and evening destination with guests visiting the Disney area. Stroll along the boardwalk avenue of Kissimmee Old Town, and you'll see everything from the Ferris Wheel at the entrance through to a Tattoo parlor and kids amusement park at the end of the street. In between, you can visit an old General Store and buy some "provisions", look up your ancestry, play in arcades, learn a trick or two in the fabulous Magic Max shop, sample some real Salt Water Taffy at Coffelt's Candy, have you palm read at Mystical Visions - and listen to the 50's and 60's music that plays from speakers set in the trees that line the central walk-way. It's an experience not to be missed that the whole family can enjoy time and time again. As well as
the shops there are over 18 amusement rides, including the awesome Pharaoh's
Fury swing - where one or two people are hoisted up in a sling to the
top of a tower - and then let go to swing down and then outwards toward
the main highway - an experience only for the brave (or lunatics!). |
